| THE JOURNEY We are on Facebook, under noreenkevern@yahoo.com. We have a Picture album on there as well. June 2010 We are in Illinois outside of St. Louis, MI right now. We are helping to change some things in Kim's house to prepare for her son Chris and wife Nora (our daughter) and their son Ethan to move into her home. Kim's husband Mike was called home by the Lord on June 5, 2009. In the past year, we have become good friends and God has called us to be with her and help her for a while. We still have a lot to do and we only have about a week before we head back to AZ to do more work on the motor home and to help them move out here. SO please pray that we will finish! We are praising the Lord that He has filled Henry and I to get things posted on the site and to accomplish some emails as well. Things have been busy and the last thing we seem to do is computer things. It's just so hard to get to the computer at times. It's easy to spend a lot of time with God's Word, but there just has not been enough time in the day to keep up on the web site and the computer. Thank you for being patient with us as we work towards getting back on track with these things. The ministry is in need of donations so that we will be able to go back out on the road again. We have no income except for your generous donations. Gas is our biggest expense! And all things considered we are praying that gas prices will not go as high as they are expecting. Kim has been providing us with electricity and water for the past 6 months and we are very thankful for her. We have been helping with things in AZ but once Kim and family are safely in Illinois we will be on our way. If your church would like us to speak, please email us. We are hoping to be able to speak God's message at your church very soon. May 2010 the 31st Praise the Lord, the brakes are done and now all we have to do is bleed them and put a brass fitting on the master cylinder for the brake lights to work. I am just about done going through all of our stuff that needs to be pack and left at various places when we leave. Our tentative date to head of to Illinois is June 7 or 8 depending upon how quickly I pack when we return home. We will be gone this weekend, saying our goodbyes to some of our families up north. And we will be celebrating our granddaughter Elle's 1st birthday. We will be gone to do some things in Illinois for about month and then we will head back to AZ for about a week to help move and then we will stay for a couple more weeks in Illinois and then back to AZ for a doctor's appointment for Henry. The cardiologist wants to check him for a triple A just to make sure that he doesn't have it. With all his medical history it is a possibility and since he already has so much pain in his back, the doctor feels it is best to rule it out, but he will have to be checked periodically for it. I am going to go mud some walls in a house today and help with putting up ceilings. I have lifted my muscles up to the Lord as they are very sore and painful. But I trust that He will give me that strength that I need this day to do what He wants me to do. We will be outside of St. Louis Missouri, so if we would like to come to Sunday services drop us a line and we will tell you where to come! the 28th Praise the Lord, the springs have come in for the brakes. We are heading into town to pick them up. 26th I can't believe it has been over a month since I last posted. We have been so busy and I have been having some troubles with my hands that make it difficult to type. But I have placed my hands in the Lord's and I am trusting for His healing. I have prayed for His strength to type through the pain. It takes a while and I make a lot of mistakes that I have to go back and correct, but that's okay. I cannot continue to let the pain get to me. As Paul said, His strength is perfect! We welcomed a new grandchild into our lives! Ethan became our 10th grandchild! We were able to fix the refrigerator! We had to put a new sub floor in the motor home and than we put laminate flooring on top. We still have the trim work to do but it looks great. I have put new curtains up, we only have one more set of blinds to get rid of but we do not have the money to fix the back part of the motor home from the leaks as yet. We have not been able to do the roof as yet as we have been helping out in another home. We have fixed the bed and while we were doing that, we were sleeping out in the van. It reminded us of last year when we were out on the road with it. We discovered another problem in the motor home, praise the Lord we have the lumber to fix it and so we plan to do that this weekend. We will begin to strip off the roof as well. We have to get up earlier as the weather is now in the high 90's and it is really hot out in the sun. I cannot be out in the heat too long as it makes me sick. We thought we had the air conditioner fixed but we need to buy some parts to fix it. After much searching both on the Internet and by driving to different places here we were able to find the correct springs for the brakes. And we are praising God that they will only be about $30 for both sides! We did research on the wheels and brakes and found out that they are Budd wheels and brakes. We now know that they are good and strong. We have good tires so we will not need tires for a while. In June we will be heading to Illinois for about a month. We are helping to rearrange a home. We will be right outside of St. Louis. Then we will come back and help move the family to Illinois. Then we have to come back here for a doctor's appointment for a test for Henry's heart and arteries. We have tentative plans to go back to Illinois for a bit, and work on earning a little money so that we can go back out on the road. We are running low on finances and we have been praying and God has been pointing to Illinois to both Henry and I so that we can earn some money to go out on the journey. We know times are tough for all. We have been blessed by the Lord to not worry about money for over 2 years now. Henry has not worked in all that time and the Lord keeps supply us as we need it. It gets really low and then He fills it up for a bit. We are blessed that our only bills right now is the phone (and soon the Internet for the computer) and insurance for the van and motor home. We have been blessed by Kim and Nora and Chris for a place to park our motor home and to hook up to their electric and septic and water and Internet. We thank them so much and we ask God to bless them for their generosity towards us. God has His plan and timing for everything. We believe that He is guiding us to finish up some things here and go out to Illinois for a bit. The area that we are going to we understand that there is a need for help for the elderly. It sounds like a good place to do some work for the Lord. Henry has been trying to get disability but SSI has not come through. It is still in the Lord's hands as the lawyer has not dropped the case and we will be having a hearing before a judge sometime in the future. He has been losing strength in his arms and dropping things a lot more. He will be going to the neurologist for testing. He has been having to take a lot of pain pills lately and he doesn't like that. We are so thankful for all of your prayers. April 2010 April 9 Hello to all this day. We have been working on fixing the refrigerator. It does not seal well and it is not frost free so the freezer fills with frost and ice. If anyone has a used refrigerator for a motor home or would like to donate so that we may purchase a new one (they are about $1200!) we would really appreciate it. The temperatures are finally getting over 50 at night and after the rain that is to be coming on Monday and Tuesday, we will begin to strip off the old roof, patch and seal, and then apply the new roof coating this upcoming week! Then we will be able to get the propane tank changed and be able to cook in the motor home. But then again, it's beginning to warm up so cooking outside might be the thing to continue. Spring has sprung and we are suffering from allergies! But the beauty that God is sharing with us is such a blessing. The bunnies and quail, the ground squirrels and finches are so much fun! We were blessed by Kim for the wood that we needed to fix the bed in here. We painted the boards yesterday and when we return from Mesa over the weekend we will work on the bed on Monday and Tuesday between the rain falling down! We have been having services outside with the beauty that the Lord has given us. If you are in Marana and would like to join us on Sundays, give us a call and we will give you directions to here. We usually start about 11 in the morning. We have a praise. The insurance has approved orthonics (sp)for my feet. I was diagnosed with arthritis in my feet. I was having a hard time walking and I have been having to use a cane. I am going today to be casted so they can make them, and the doctor is going to put me in some air casts to walk in for now. We pray that you have a blessed day in the Lord. April 2 Good Friday to each of you. Today is the day in which we remember the Lord Jesus' death on the cross. It is a day in which He took our sins upon Himself and died for our sins. He was without sin. God wanted us to accept Him in our lives and to live our lives according to His way. But we have been lied to by the devil and have been led astray. For those of us who have come to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and live our lives following the way of the Lord, this day brings to us both sorrow and gladness. We are sad that our God had to give His life for ours, yet we are glad that He did, for there is nothing that we can do for our Salvation. Jesus did it on the cross. He purchased our Salvation with His death. And that is what we celebrate in this day. Spend the day reflecting on the great gift that God has given us. Spend the day knowing that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. That only by becoming reborn in Spirit and the truth will we know God. That by confessing our sins and repenting of them, we have a personal relationship with our Lord and live our lives reflecting the Son. Today is more than any other day, a day to thank God for loving us so that He laid down His life for you! Could you lay down your life for another? Maybe for your child or spouse, but for a stranger? That's what are life is to be. To do as Jesus did. He is the way, the truth and the life. Only through Him can we come to the Father. We have to walk the walk and talk the talk. If you have not already given your life to God, today is the day. What are you waiting for. Who else would die for you, who else would be whipped almost to death, and still carry a cross and be crucified? Who would show you a most excellent way, a way of love and perfection, in which to live your life? By the blood of Jesus and the power of His Name, we pray that you will accept Jesus. Just say this simple prayer or something like it: Father, I come to You and ask You to forgive me for my sins. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to surrender to Your perfect love. Thank You for sending Jesus. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I will repent of my sins and learn to walk in the way of the Lord. Starting today, I will build a personal relationship with You so that my life reflects the Son. Thank You. March 2010 My dearest sisters and brothers in the Lord, I pray that this finds you being bathed in the joy of the Lord Who showers upon us such precious grace and mercy. Words cannot express my thanks for the strength that you prayed for during my time of need. The Lord has brought me into such strength and joy at this time and I am blessed that He has been speaking to me so much during this time since my Daddy went home to the Lord. God has led me to know that my Daddy is at peace now in his heavenly home that was prepared for him. God has spoken of so much that is going to be moving in my life and has brought such comfort and peace into my heart. Life has it’s way of bringing about such turmoil should we allow it, but there is always God’s peace in the midst of it. Daddy’s crossing over was more than I thought it would be and I am so thankful to our God that He allowed me to be there and pray for my father as he entered into his heavenly reward. For the past year, I had prayed to the Lord asking Him to allow me to be there when Daddy was to go home, and the Lord told me that He would let me know when it would be and bring me there. God does indeed answer our prayers, my dear ones. What an honor it was to be there and pray and sing and to do the work that the Lord set before me. I miss my Daddy so much, but I am so happy that he is out of pain and at peace and I will indeed see him when I go home to the Lord! With my grief is such joy at knowing that the Lord does indeed fill us with what we need and even though I was worn out when I had sent out my prayer request, calling upon all of you to pray for me and for my family, God was with me through it all. There is still healing to be done in my family, but God has allowed me to know that each of my family needs to come to terms with their issues though Him and allow Him to heal their hearts and to fill their lives with His glorious will. God is such an amazing God. During these past weeks since I had asked for prayer, the Lord had allowed my battery and power supply for my computer to fail, so I only had periodic ability to go to my mail through the use of fellow sister in Christ computer, but rest assured, I prayed for each of you during this time. I was able to read your prayers for me and was filled with such peace and strength from the Lord. Now that the Lord has blessed us with a new battery and power supply I will be back on line and working harder than ever with what the Lord has put before me. I will be updating our status on the website for the ministry, which is our whole lives now and I would be blessed if you would check out the website and if you would continue your prayers as Henry and I are going to be in full repair mode on the motor home and working on some projects here that the Lord has led us to do before we head back out on the road. We had hoped to be back out by now, but we have to follow God’s will and timing and not ours. Henry and I are so happy in our new home. We are working on it and are doing some other things as well, which we will tell you about on the website in the near future as well as putting more pictures up. I could not remember how to put pictures on the website with the program and with Henry’s memory not being what it use to be since his strokes, I will have to prod him a bit to help me to do this. But with the help of the Lord, we will muddle through that! We pray that the Lord will bless you this day with His amazing love and bring you even closer to Him in your walk with Him. The Lord God is so good and gracious in His mercy. I look forward to hearing from you all so very soon and sharing what the Lord has brought to me. He and I have been speaking so many long hours together, and I am so humbled by His love and the peace that He has filled me with, and I am full of His Spirit surrendering all to His will and thank Him for allowing me to fulfill His will as we journey forth in all His plans. “But I will rescue you on that day,” declares the Lord; “you will not be handed over to those you fear. I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in Me,” declares the Lord. Jeremiah 39:17-18 February 2010 In Memory of My Dad, John J. Buckley It is with great sadness that I write this. My Dad went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 24th at 8:15 in the morning. The Lord blessed me to be able to spend the last two days of his life with him and to allow me to pray over my father during his passing of this world into the Lord's kingdom. My Dad John was born on New Years Eve 1922. He married my Mom Fran on October 3rd, 1942. The Lord blessed them with 5 children, Patricia, Kathleen, John, Michael and me Noreen. He joined the Army Air Corp, which became the Air Force. He worked as a mechanic on the airplanes over in England during the Second World War. After the war, he worked all of his life as an electrician. He had to retire in the 1980's due to his health. He was my Daddy. I called him that until he went to be with the Lord and he will always be Daddy to me. He showed me so much in my life and always loved me. I remember the time that he took me to a circus when I was a little girl. I don't remember much of the circus, but I remember holding onto his hand as we walked around the circus. When the time came to go home, he bought me a little toy piano. One time we went to see Mary Poppins and Those Daring Young Men and Their Flying Machines. They have always been favorites of mine ever since. We would sometimes watch old movies together. He loved the old movies especially Deanna Durbin films. Because of this, I have always loved to watch old movies and I own many. We even went to watch French Connection together when I was a teenager. And when Henry and I were dating, Dad and Mom and Henry and I went to the drive in movies together to see Walking Tall. He took us camping so much when I was little. He would take us sometimes up before the weekend, set up the camp for us and then go back home and work until Friday and come up that night. One time we were up in Maine at a campground on a cliff, I awoke early in the morning having to go to the bathroom, which was across the campground. So off we went by the cliff. The sun was just beginning to rise over the Atlantic Ocean and we stood there holding hands and watched. The sun appeared bigger and bigger over the ocean and he told me that on the other side was England. I remember imagining that I could see England! He took my brother Mike and I many places. Our three older siblings were 8 to 10 years older than us and were teenagers when we were little and so Mike and I were able to have a lot of time with Daddy. Christmas was always a magical time Daddy would take a loan out every year and pay it off before the following year so that we had the best Christmas. I remember the time we went to New York City and looked at all the window displays for Christmas. We even went to Rockefeller Center. He was the director of Religious Education at our church growing up. We spent a lot of time at that church. He talked to God. He always told me his proudest day was the day that he walked me down the aisle at my wedding. My oldest sister Patt married out in California and my family was not there. My other sister had not been married by that time and so I was the first daughter that he walked down the aisle. He wore a white tux just like Henry. He was there when my kids were born, and loved them so very much. My kids were the ones who called him “Poppi” and he will remain so to them. I am blessed that all my children were able to say goodbye to Daddy. Beth is living in Massachusetts and she called him as he was dying. I held the phone up to his ear and when he heard Beth's voice he opened his eyes and looked for her. Their song was I Just Called To Say I Love You. She called again to tell him that. Chrissy and Henry and Nora were all able to say Goodbye to their beloved Poppi. Daddy, I love you and I am glad that God has brought you home and that He let me be there and pray during your passing. You lived a good long life and will be missed. We will eat Chulupas and drink Guinness in your honor. Every time I watch an old movie, I will think of you. Every St. Patrick's Day I will remember that the only German in me is in my crooked little toe! I know not to stick things into light sockets and will always remember how you saved my life when I tried to do that. I will remember what you taught me in life and I will always cherish the memories of our lives together. Thank you Daddy for being my Daddy and thank You God for letting Daddy be my Daddy here. I know You gave him a big mansion, because he was blessed with a large family. Five children, Patt, Kathy, John (we call him Jack), Mike and me Noreen, eleven grandchildren, Paul, Sean and Scott, Jeff and Amy, Beth, Chrissy, Henry and Nora, Shannon and Johnny, 16 great grandchildren, Nick, Mike and Colt, Ailin and Ryan, Isaiah, Alliyah, and Addyson, Noah, Ashton, Konner and Elle, Isaiah and Branson, Jamie and Mikey, with one more, Ethan on the way making 17 great grandchildren. Bye Daddy, I love you! February 9 I have lived in Arizona for a long time and it's been years since we have had such a wet winter. We have been having rain every week and it has made repairing things in the motor home a bit difficult. But we continue to work at it. We thought that we had all the leaks fixed but the last rain proved us wrong. So we are caulking the entire roof wherever there is a seam or something on the roof and then we are covering it over with a tarp as we are having another winter storm again tomorrow. This storm's snow level will be down to 4000 feet so we may see some snow! We discovered that the J pipe under the kitchen sink began leaking so we will fix that tomorrow since it will be raining and it's an inside job. I have a front curtain for the windshield now and I am going to work on sewing two for the drivers side and passenger side windows. We figured out how we are going to fix the sleeping area and will begin that next week. I am also going to start sewing new curtains for the windows. Henry and I are not mini blinds people. We prefer curtains. We have been working with a few people discovering God's Word in their lives. It's always an exciting time when someone wants to learn to read the Bible and is learning the way of the Lord. I have reworked a Weekly Way about studying the Bible and have decided to use it again this week for services. So if you are looking for information about reading the Bible, watch for this week's services and the Weekly Way titled God's Word. Henry and I are almost done with The Love Dare. We will complete it on Valentine's Day. We have really enjoyed it. Although we have a great marriage and have learned throughout our 31 year marriage to do the things that are in The Love Dare, we felt it was important to complete The Love Dare ourselves as we recommend it to couples who are having issues in their marriages. And we will begin to recommend it to couples who are getting married. It is such an excellent resource for marriage and will teach you so much. We discovered The Love Dare after watching the movie, Fireproof. Even if you have a great marriage, I would recommend that you read the book and watch the movie. Henry and I also watched the movie Facing The Giants finally! What a great movie that was as well. It is certainly a keeper so we are going to have to go out and buy it. Have a great day and fill your lives with the Word of the Lord! January 2010 January 28 We have had a lot of rain in the last couple of weeks. Here we even had a tornado watch which is very unusual for Tucson. We discovered that we had a leak in the roof of the motor home and we have to replace that portion inside as there was a lot of rain and it caused quite a bubble in the ceiling. Luckily it was not over the bed area! Praise the Lord. We were able to fix that and another small leak up by the drivers area. We had rain again during the night and when it stopped I awoke about 2 this morning, so I read my Bible for a while and have been working on some ministry things. I imagine that I may need a nap later this day! We had found a couple more leaks in the water system but they are all fixed now. The things we had under cover, all did not survive the weather but that's okay. Nothing major was destroyed but those 80 mile an hour wind gusts really caused havoc. We have been cleaning up and going through things to weed out even more things. I have been having some problems with my feet and am seeing a doctor. It is very painful for me to walk, but I manage with a cane. Once the rain stops for a while and the ground dries up, we are going to work on the brakes. It's a bit difficult to jack up something this big when the ground is wet and the jack sinks! Once we finish going through things and getting all the mechanical things fixed such as the master brake cylinder and the lights and of course some new wiper blades we are going to head out for another short journey to see how the motor home works and then come back to fix any thing that may need fixing. We still have to take one of the propane tanks done to have it redone as it is not what is code any longer. We are so excited as we work on things as the weather permits of course. January 3 Today we are trying to get caught up on so many things. We picked up a new faucet to put in the kitchen sink in the motor home. Henry tried to fix it, but it didn't work, so off we went to the store to pick up a new one. We have been pricing electrical cords for the motor home and will pick one up soon. We needed to get a 10 or 12 volt one and decided to get the 10 volt one. I did not know that there were differences in cords! You learn something new everyday! I have been spending the morning updating the group for the next week and the website for today. This afternoon, I am going to be measuring the windows so I can make some curtains for the motor home. We are going to pick up some window film as well. I hope to be able to recover the cushions at some point, but upholstery material is expensive. We were able to remove the passenger chair that was in it. It was some weird thing and we have two captains chairs from the van that we are going to put in the driving area. We are now praying that God will bless us with a small vehicle, something like a Ford Escape, so that we can tow it behind. The van will just be too big for the motor home. But we plan to keep the van as that is what we feel God wants us to do. Well, that's it for now. I am going to try and put a couple of pictures in the photo album. If I am able to, you will see them today. If not it will have to wait until I get help! January 1 It's the beginning of a new day, a new year and a day that we can rejoice in the goodness of the Lord. We will be updating the photo gallery real soon with pictures of the motor home. We look towards the Lord for His will and direction in our lives. We pray for each of you, that the Lord guides you in your lives and fills you with what you need to do His will. Dr. Taylor has decided to take some time away and renew her spirit and health. Please pray for Dr. Taylor, that the Lord's healing touch overflow in her life and that His peace and comfort fill her. December We pray that this Christmas season is filled with the wonder of His love. May the Lord bless each of you and may His love and mercy overflow into your lives. We pray that each day will be a Christmas in your lives. We give praise to God for bringing us to a motor home that fits to what we need. It is a 1972 Dodge motor home with plenty of storage space for our needs. We are looking forward to fixing it up and going out on the road! It does need some work, but nothing that Henry and I cannot do. We are already living in it and are working on it day by day. The Lord has lead us to help some people here before we head out. So that gives us time to help them, fix the motor home and get things packed and ready to go! Thanks for all of your prayers! God has heard and has blessed us. November Wow, I can't believe that November is upon us. We have been busy with so many things around here. We are in the process of losing our home and that's okay, as we won't be needing it any longer. We had hoped to sell it, but that is not to be. We have a few more weeks left in the house as we pack and give away and sell 31+ years of our lives. We know that the Lord will provide for us as He has guided us and shown us His will for our lives. Henry and I are weary, but we rest in the Lord, knowing that all is for His glory. Our losing the house helps us to understand and be able to relate with others that we will meet along the Journey. We have not finished fixing the tent trailer, but we have made good progress (we have posted some pictures in the photo gallery). It seems we fix one thing and we find something else that needs to be fixed. The motor home that had been donated never actually came into being. It needed far too much work and we didn't have the money for that. We are hoping to find another motor home, to be blessed by someone who God will lay it upon their hearts to donate to us. We have not had much income lately and we were not able to keep up the payments on the house. It's been a very slow year for donations to the ministry, but we are not afraid. We know that God is still God and that when He brings something into our lives, whether for a day or a season, we will get through it. And our testing is only the beginning as we know that the Lord is preparing us for better things that will bring glory to Him. We feel so honored that God has brought us into everything that has been in our lives so far. We trust in Him and know that He is God and that He will never abandon us or He will always be with us and that HE will provide for us. We worry not, for we see the flowers spin, and the birds in the air and we know that He takes care of all things that are for His glory. And our story, our lives will continue to be blessed so that everything that happens will bring glory to God. All that He brings us to teaches us what HE wants us to learn and enables us to be with others who are going through the same things. Praise be to our God. September We have been working on so many different things this past month. Many problems have surfaced but we are not in the least bit afraid. We ask that you lift the ministry up in prayer as the motor home didn't work out as it needed more repairs than we could afford. We have been trying to work on the tent trailer but it has been too hot here in Arizona to work on a daily basis and with Henry's health issues and my inability to handle the heat, we work on it bit by bit. We have spent some time lately up in Mesa and have so many things that are going on. We are in process of selling our house and that takes time. We have it listed and hope to have it sold soon. Since we have not had any income lately, we are being foreclosed upon. We still hope that the house will sell and then we will be able to use that money for the ministry. We know our calling is sure, God keeps giving us clear messages to persevere during these times and not to worry, He will provide. Our time is taken up by many things and we are praying that we focus more on ministry and let other things take us away from what the Lord has led us to do. Thank you for your prayers and we pray that you will be able to add your support. God bless you. Aug 17 I can't believe that a month has gone by. We have been busy with hospital visits and church and many other things. We ask for prayers for a quick sale for our house for if we cannot sell it in the next few weeks we will have to give it back to the bank or they may chose to foreclose. Either way, we are out again after the Labor Day weekend. Please pray as well that we are able to get things sold or given away to some place who will give it to those who need. Henry has been working on the tent trailer the best he can, it's slow going but the mighty mend it seems to be working to keep the seams together. Between the heat and his back, it takes its toll on him and he gets really tired. He's been having more spasms in his back. Once he is done with that, I will clean and pack the tent trailer. We are hoping to take the tent trailer out this time since the motor home is going to take more time than we had hoped. It's just too hot to work on it and so it will have to wait until we return later and the weather is cooler. But we can't wait to get back out there and see who God leads us too. We haven't had any donations lately and are trusting in the Lord for His provision. Henry has fallen a few times recently, the doctor believes it's because of his back problems and that there is nothing to be done. He has a spot on his knee that been there since the end of March when he fell on it. She doesn't think it is of any concern but will continue to monitor it. He has been having some stomach issues as well lately. She believes it is acid reflux and is putting him on Nexium as he cannot use the others as it can cause problems with his warifin. The doctor is checking his gall bladder and liver as well. With the 2 statins he is on, he could develop liver problems. I am glad that the doctor is checking other things out as well. Our grandson Branson came through the surgery fine and is getting his helmet tomorrow. His skull is already looking better and he has healed nicely. You can barely see the incisions. Our grandson Noah started kindergarten today! We went with him and his mom and brothers and sister, aunt and cousin to the school. He was a little scared but we know he will do fine. Our other 2 new granddaughters are growing so big. It's hard to imagine that so much time has gone by. Addyson is 6 months now and Elle is 2 months and Branson is now 5 months. We want to thank all of you who have been praying for the ministry. We feel the Lord moving mightily in our lives and are humbled that He has called us. We trust the Lord for everything and we know that He will take care of bringing to us what we need. We continue to lift you up in prayer. July 18 Praise the Lord! We have been working on so many things these past few weeks. On the 11th of July, we welcomed 3 new Christians into the faith. Please keep Nanci, Morgan and Rylan in your prayers as they live out their faith in their lives. Nanci, who has cancer, is giving her testimony about her faith through all that has happened to her. Morgan and Rylan are 2 of her grandchildren who traveled to share their faith with her and the family for a very special day. Another praise, we have been blessed with a motor home for the ministry. It is an older one, but we will be fixing it up to continue on The Journey. THANK YOU LORD! We will be adding pictures of the motor home and the steps we will take to fix it up and get ready to go again! Monday the 20th, we will be up in Phoenix for our grandson Branson's surgery on his skull. Dr. Moss and his team will be removing part of his skull that has fused too early. We are trusting in the Lord that His healing touch is in the doctor's and team's hands and that all will be well with Branson. We will be out of the Tucson area for most of next week. But I will try and update you on Monday night of how things went. We also request prayers for not only Branson, but for Dr. Moss and his team. Henry and I are praying for you. We are trusting in the Lord that we will be out on The Journey in August. Due to be blessed with the motor home, we have some repairs that need to be accomplished before we go back on the road. We will not be able to spend hours working on it, as it is summer in Arizona and we are really hot! We welcomed Dr. Amanda Taylor to the ministry as well. She lives in North Carolina and is our person in that area. We are so happy to have her join us. We are excited that the Sunday worship is gathering at sister Donna's home. Thank you Donna for sharing your home for praising the Lord. |
