| Father, we come to you as Your children with prayers to petition You in our needs. We know that You are the way to life. We believe that by following Your way that when we ask of You, we will receive; that when we seek, we will find; and when we knock the door will open. So with faith we humbly ask You to answer our prayers in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Marty is having a halo surgery in the morning at Ft. Sanders Hospital. Its in the GI Lab and its the third one he's had in a year. Its on his esophogitis (or however you spell it!) They are just doing it in the hospital because of the defibilator. Please pray for him! I wasn't thru with my requests but accidentally hit something and sent it off! Here is the rest. I want to thank you for sending me info on Donny's dad and uncle. That means a lot to me and I have been praying. Also, would you add my friend, Sheila Verdow, to your prayer list. Her son, Sam, is 11 and has been taken (by his daddy) to Florida. She is really depressed. She also has 2 granddaughters, Anola, and Mia--the situation is bad and now she can't see them anymore. Also pray for her 22 year old daughter, Ricca. The whole situation needs to be covered in prayer. Sam's daddy's name is Lance. I have a praise report! My foot is healing. I'm one week and one day away from being out of the "boot" that I've been in since February!!! I'm released from the wound center, and seeing the dr. in her office in 1 week and 1 day! That's happy news! Also, I want to thank my Lord for it cause my aunt had the same thing (diabetic sores and the 2 infections) and she died because of it. That was about 20 years ago; she had to go to a nursing home and have 3 surgeries on her foot (which she recovered the first 2). In just 20 years, I didn't die because of my infections. I am humbled and thankful. iluvu You can pass this on to whoever. Sheila has asked us to pray. I am asking all the prayer partners to pray with me concerning a problem at the place where I work. I just found out today, when the owner of the company called me, there has been some money missing. This is the prayer I am praying: Lord, let the thief be found and everything this person has done to my boss and his company be exposed. The Bible says, when the thief is found, you are to require of him seven fold what he has stolen and all his house. May your word be fulfilled in this person's life Lord! May all be restored to my boss and his company that is missing, for he is a good hearted Christian man. This is an enemy of all Christians who work there. So, as he has come out in one way may he flee in seven ways. Let that person or persons be persecuted and let the Angel of the Lord chase them. I pray my boss's eyes be opened to anyone out to take anything from him. I ask the Lord to give him decernment to know of anyone telling lies. I also pray for God to clean house and remove such a vile person. In Jesus name! His by the blood, Karen Update: Marie's surgery went well and she is home and recovering. Please continue to lift her up in prayer for complete healing in the Lord. We lift up Marie today in prayer. Marie is having back surgery this morning. We pray that the Lord will guide the doctors and the nurses who are operating and caring for her. We lift up her family for strength and peace during this time. We pray that Marie has a quick recovery and that she is able to return to work. In Jesus' Name. Amen. We lift up Wanda in prayer this day. Wanda has many health problems. She is on hospice and has been having more bad days than good lately. We lift up her family as well, that those who have not accepted the Lord will come to know Him and to allow the Lord to be in their lives and accept His Salvation. We lift up Donna for healing and for the Lord's peace. She has so much to handle in her life and she is a good woman. We lift up Melissa and Aaron's unborn daughter and all their children. In Jesus' Name. Amen. Plesae pray for Katie-Laken, she is at the beach with her bf and her family. She called me late last night to tell me her eye was really hurting and the pupil looked tiny compared to her other eye. She forgot to pack her eye drops. She took her contacts out earlier that day but said it ran water and itched all day. I am 5 hours away from her. I asked them to please get eye drops tomorrow if not better. I am concerned she is getting an infection or pink eye. Please join with me that her eye is healed today when she wakes up. Thank you saints!!! PS. Larry and I are still praying for the our jobs. I still have not gotten the first unemployment check, I am still waiting on my appeal. I had to get a dr's. note stating I can work. They found out I had cancer. My cancer is gone, PRAISE GOD!!! -- Nanci O:-) My husband Michael is back in extreme pain - not like before thank God but his back is still spasming that you can see it clear through to his front side! Like a jumping muscle but anyway we have an appointment lined up for today to see the doctor. Your prayers are much appreciated again - thank you & God Bless. Mr Hickey is also very ill and they are not sure how much longer he will be with us. Betty - she cares for the Hickey's and is such a dear lady. I wanted to send out a particular prayer request as I know you have access to many people and networks that can seriously pray! I use to volunteer for Knox County Rescue Squad and Rural/Metro Fire Department in Knox County. There is a firefighter that I used to work with for years named James Grover. We call him "Grover". Yesterday, he had a massive brain hemorrage and irreperable brain damage has occurred. An artery in his brain naturally disected and formed a blood clot in the middle of his brain which bled out yesterday morning. Grover is in his mid 40s and his wife recently had a baby. He was not expected to make it through the night last night but he did. PRAISE GOD!!! He is barely hanging on and is in the fight of his life right now. The firefighters that I have worked with in the past hold a very special place in my heart and I am absolutely heartbroken that this has happened to Grover. Please extend your prayers to friends and family regarding Grover and his family. She will be in the hospital approximately 4 - 5 days if her recovery goes as expected, then will be placed in a rehab facility for 2 weeks so that she can get daily intensive physical therapy Gulf Coast Oil Spill, please pray that the Lord will work His will in this situation and that there is healing of the ocean, shores & land & peoples lives.
