Our Mission

Ours is a simple mission.
To preach and share the Word of God.
To seek out those that God leads to us.
To travel wherever the Lord leads.
To be faithful to God and His Word.
To trust in the Lord.
To teach that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. That no one can go to the
Father, except through Jesus.
John 14:6

Statement of Faith

We believe in one God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God created the world and all that is in it.
We believe that the Father sent His only Son Jesus to earth.
We believe that Christ died for our sins on the cross.
We believe that His blood covers us and by His stripes we
are healed.
We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven.
We believe that His Holy Spirit lives in us when we accept Jesus as our Lord and
Savior and repent from our sins.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God.

We live our lives as Jesus commanded.
We love the Lord our God with all of our heart, with all of our soul, with all of our
mind and with all of our strength.
We love one another as we love ourselves.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me.
In My Father's house there are many rooms; if it were not so, I would
have told you. I AM going there to prepare a place for you, I will come
back and take you to be with Me that you also may be where I AM.
You know the way to the place I AM going."
John 14:1-4

In Memory of My Dad, John J. Buckley

It is with great sadness that I write this. My Dad went home to be with
the Lord on Wednesday February 24th at 8:15 in the morning. The Lord
blessed me to be able to spend the last two days of his life with him and
to allow me to pray over my father during his passing of this world into
the Lord's kingdom.

My Dad John was born on New Years Eve 1922. He married my Mom
Fran on October 3rd, 1942. The Lord blessed them with 5 children,
Patricia, Kathleen, John, Michael and me Noreen. He joined the Army
Air Corp, which became the Air Force. He worked as a mechanic on the
airplanes over in England during the Second World War. After the war,
he worked all of his life as an electrician. He had to retire in the 1980's
due to his health.

He was my Daddy. I called him that until he went to be with the Lord
and he will always be Daddy to me. He showed me so much in my life
and always loved me. I remember the time that he took me to a circus
when I was a little girl. I don't remember much of the circus, but I
remember holding onto his hand as we walked around the circus. When
the time came to go home, he bought me a little toy piano. One time we
went to see Mary Poppins and Those Daring Young Men and Their
Flying Machines. They have always been favorites of mine ever since.
We would sometimes watch old movies together. He loved the old movies
especially Deanna Durbin films. Because of this, I have always loved to
watch old movies and I own many. We even went to watch French
Connection together when I was a teenager. And when Henry and I were
dating, Dad and Mom and Henry and I went to the drive in movies
together to see Walking Tall. He took us camping so much when I was
little. He would take us sometimes up before the weekend, set up the
camp for us and then go back home and work until Friday and come up
that night. One time we were up in Maine at a campground on a cliff, I
awoke early in the morning having to go to the bathroom, which was
across the campground. So off we went by the cliff. The sun was just
beginning to rise over the Atlantic Ocean and we stood there holding
hands and watched. The sun appeared bigger and bigger over the ocean
and he told me that on the other side was England. I remember
imagining that I could see England!

He took my brother Mike and I many places. Our three older siblings
were 8 to 10 years older than us and were teenagers when we were little
and so Mike and I were able to have a lot of time with Daddy. Christmas
was always a magical time Daddy would take a loan out every year and
pay it off before the following year so that we had the best Christmas. I
remember the time we went to New York City and looked at all the
window displays for Christmas. We even went to Rockefeller Center. He
was the director of Religious Education at our church growing up. We
spent a lot of time at that church. He talked to God.

He always told me his proudest day was the day that he walked me
down the aisle at my wedding. My oldest sister Patt married out in
California and my family was not there. My other sister had not been
married by that time and so I was the first daughter that he walked
down the aisle. He wore a white tux just like Henry. He was there when
my kids were born, and loved them so very much. My kids were the ones
who called him “Poppi” and he will remain so to them. I am blessed that
all my children were able to say goodbye to Daddy. Beth is living in
Massachusetts and she called him as he was dying. I held the phone up
to his ear and when he heard Beth's voice he opened his eyes and looked
for her. Their song was I Just Called To Say I Love You. She called again
to tell him that. Chrissy and Henry and Nora were all able to say
Goodbye to their beloved Poppi.

Daddy, I love you and I am glad that God has brought you home and
that He let me be there and pray during your passing. You lived a good
long life and will be missed. We will eat Chulupas and drink Guinness
in your honor. Every time I watch an old movie, I will think of you.
Every St. Patrick's Day I will remember that the only German in me is
in my crooked little toe! I know not to stick things into light sockets
and will always remember how you saved my life when I tried to do that.
I will remember what you taught me in life and I will always cherish the
memories of our lives together. Thank you Daddy for being my Daddy
and thank You God for letting Daddy be my Daddy here. I know You
gave him a big mansion, because he was blessed with a large family.
Five children, Patt, Kathy, John (we call him Jack), Mike and me
Noreen, eleven grandchildren, Paul, Sean and Scott, Jeff and Amy,
Beth, Chrissy, Henry and Nora, Shannon and Johnny, 16 great
grandchildren, Nick, Mike and Colt, Ailin and Ryan, Isaiah, Alliyah,
and Addyson, Noah, Ashton, Konner and Elle, Isaiah and Branson,
Jamie and Mikey, with one more, Ethan on the way making 17 great
grandchildren.

Bye Daddy, I love you!

~~~~~Ministry News~~~~~
Thank you for stopping by and visiting The Way Of The Lord
Ministries. We are a traveling ministry going wherever the Lord
leads us. We invite you to join us in The Journey. Write to us and
tell us about yourself and your own Journey. We would love to come
and meet you and share about our Journey with God. Please feel
free to share what is on this site with others. All we ask is that you
tell others about The Way Of The Lord Ministries.
Please join our Yahoo group as part of The Journey and ask others to
join with us! What is on the website is different than the group. We
are praying that the ministry will increase with members from all
over so that the Way Of The Lord is brought to all people. Come and
join us in God's mission!
If you would like us to visit your church or you, please send us an
email and we will gladly visit. We have been living and traveling  in
a Ford conversion van and
we are praising God that He has
found us a motor home! It is a 1972 Dodge Motor home and we
have moved into it! It needs some work but we are thanking
God that we will be going out to share His Good News in the
comfort of our new home We will be posting some pictures of it
soon!
  We are working on fixing up the motor home now and you
can read about what we are doing on the Journey page. When we
were out in the van we met so many people and have been blessed
to see God working in our lives to bring the Good News to people.
We are walking and talking and meeting with people where they
live or work and we have joined with others in their places of
worship and have ministered to others in laundry mats and shared
with people at campfires, parking lots, and out on the road. When we
are able, we have Weekly Services where we are. The whole point of
this ministry is to be with people wherever the Lord leads us to meet
with them. But while we are still here in Arizona, we are having
weekly services. If you are in the Tucson/Marana area, write to us
and we will let you know where we are having services and you can
join us. We would love to see you there.
It has become in the churches a time of testing, because there are
those who are opposed to the teachings that are in the Bible. We
need your support to continue in this Journey and we need your
prayers! We pray that you will give a love gift, either one time or
monthly to support this ministry. We have placed on the web site a
Journey page along with a photo album of parts of the Journey.
Please feel free to see what we have done so far.
This is a new beginning of an ongoing mission being led by God. We
pray that you will come along and share in bringing God’s Word to
people wherever the Lord leads. We ask that you pray and allow us
to come and talk with you and show you more of our Journey.
This Journey is teaching us so much more about God's amazing
love. So  please read
The Journey page and follow us along. We
look forward to meeting you and sharing God's amazing love and
His Word.
God bless you.
Ministry Needs
Please pray about becoming a monthly partner with
The Way Of The Lord Ministries.
Any love gift will be a blessing and you will be helping to share the
Gospel with those who do not yet know the Lord or are hurting. We
are in need of a small working car to tow behind the motor home.
God bless you and thank you.
